Strengthening Our Supply Chain, Economic Growth & Local Jobs!

Our parent company, AML Holdings LLC, has signed an MoU with Kelstone Sdn. Bhd., witnessed by Deputy Chief Minister of Kelantan YB Dato' Dr. Mohamed Fadzli bin Dato' Haji Hassan.

This strategic partnership secures long-term raw material supply for our smelting plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu.

Most importantly, it supports local economic growth in Sarawak and creates more high-skilled job opportunities for Sarawakians, while connecting raw material extraction in Kelantan directly to high-value downstream processing in Bintulu.

Kelantan muncul sebagai pengeluar manganese ketujuh terbesar dunia susulan kedudukannya sebagai satu-satunya negeri di Malaysia yang mengeluarkan mineral berkenaan sekali gus meletakkan negeri ini pada posisi strategik dalam industri mineral global.

Timbalan Menteri Besar Kelantan YB Dato’ Mohamed Fadzli Dato’ Hassan berkata kedudukan itu berdasarkan maklumat yang dikongsikan oleh Naib Pengerusi merangkap Ahli Lembaga Pengarah AML Holdings LLC Yuki Nakamura bahawa Malaysia merupakan pengeluar manganese ketujuh terbesar dunia.

Beliau berkata demikian pada sidang media selepas Majlis Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) antara Kelstone Sdn. Bhd. dan AML Holdings LLC bagi kerjasama pembangunan industri berasaskan sumber mineral di Kelantan di Pejabat Timbalan Menteri Besar di Mabna, hari ini.

Strengthening ties for a sustainable future!

Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. recently paid a courtesy visit to RECODA (Regional Corridor Development Authority). Led by our Vice Chairman, Mr. Yuki Nakamura, our team shared exciting updates on our latest product developments and proposed investment plans at the Samalaju Industrial Park (SIP) in Bintulu.

BINTULU — The finest Under-12 handball players in Bintulu are heading to the Sarawak State-Level Handball Competition in Dalat, Mukah this week (11–15 July 2026), backed by a proud new community partner: Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd (PFA).

In preparation for the tournament, an official flag and jersey handover ceremony was held yesterday at SK Sri Samalaju, Bintulu. The event marked a proud milestone for the young athletes as they formally received their official tournament kits sponsored by PFA, establishing a unified team identity on the court. Team Manager Mdm. Eveline was present to receive the gear and lead the contingent alongside school officials.

Through a dedicated CSR commitment, PFA is ensuring that logistical and financial barriers do not stand in the way of regional sports excellence. The Bintulu Education District Office has assembled a 28-student group selected from 19 elementary schools across the division.

For many of these young athletes, this tournament represents a golden opportunity to build teamwork, earn vital co-curricular credits, and potentially be scouted to represent Sarawak on the national stage.

PFA continues to invest directly in the future leaders and athletes of Sarawak, proving that industry can drive deep, positive human impact at the grassroots level.

Bintulu, 9 May 2026– Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. (PFA) took part in the Hope Fun Run 2026, organized by the Advocacy Association of Early Childhood Educators (AECE) Bintulu, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement, inclusivity, and employee well-being.

A strong team of 30 PFA employees and their families participated in the 5KM run, reflecting the company’s emphasis on fostering healthy lifestyles and meaningful family involvement. Beyond participation, PFA also supported the event by providing refreshments for event volunteers, contributing to the overall success of the program.

Held at Dewan Sri Kenyalang, UPM Bintulu, the event brought together corporate partners, educators, and the wider community in support of autism programs, therapy services, and awareness initiatives.

The initiative received endorsement from PFA’s leadership, including Mr. Jorgen and Mr. Augustine's representation at the official ceremony, underscoring the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable and impactful CSR efforts.
