Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar (JBALB), formerly JKR Water Supply Authorities, was launched in 1st September 2015. It has now then carried on with the same roles and responsibilities as JKR Water Supply Authorities. Pengarah JBALB, Mr. Daniel Wong Park Ing is assisted by three deputy directors namely Mr. Andrew Ling Eng Lik [Deputy Director (Corporate)], Pn. Rodziah binti Mohamad [Deputy Director
(Operation)] and Mr. Ong Hui Keng [Deputy Director (Development)]. Among the units under purview of Dy (Corporate) are as follows:
(1) Human Resource and Administrative;
Finance;
(2) Contract Management; and
(3) Corporate Communication. Among the units under purview of Dy (Development) are as follows:
(1) Planning and Design; and
(2) Water Resource Management. Among the units under purview of Dy (Operation) are as follows:
(1) Operation and Maintenance;
(2) Asset Management;
(3) Dam Management;
(4) Safety and Health; and
(5) Reticulation System. There are also three regional managers in-charge of the respective regional operations which are Southern, Central and Northern. Units under purview of regional managers includes Project Implementation, Water Quality, NRW and Enforcement, together with divisional offices under respective regions.
