🚴‍♂️ Bicycle Safety Training | Press Metal Bintulu 🎥

A Bicycle Safety Training programme was successfully conducted on 26 August 2026 at Press Metal Bintulu, led by Mr. Rajap Bin Japar.

The session was designed to enhance participants’ awareness of safe and responsible cycling practices, particularly within the workplace environment. Key areas covered included safe bicycle handling, hazard awareness, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), road and traffic safety, pre-ride safety checks, and responsible riding behaviour.

By reinforcing the importance of safe cycling habits and situational awareness, the training helps participants reduce the risk of incidents and contribute to a safer workplace for all road and bicycle users.

🏗️ Overhead Crane Training

The Overhead Crane Training was successfully conducted over two days, from 23–24 August 2026, for participants from Press Metal Bintulu.

The training was led by Mr. Hazizul Bin Suhaili and focused on strengthening participants’ knowledge and practical understanding of safe overhead crane operations, including proper operating procedures, pre-use inspection, hazard identification, safe lifting practices, load handling and operator responsibilities.

Throughout the programme, participants were guided on the importance of following safe work practices to reduce risks and ensure lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently in the workplace.

Our Safe Handling of 10-Tonne Forklift Training was successfully conducted on 21–22 August 2026 at Press Metal Bintulu, led by Mr. Hazizul.

Operating a heavy-capacity forklift requires more than experience behind the wheel. Participants were guided through safe operating practices, hazard awareness, equipment handling and important precautions when working with heavy loads.

When the load gets heavier, there is even less room for unsafe practices. 🦺🚜
