O&M Technician (Solar)

New Horizon Energy Sdn Bhd is hiring for the position of O&M Technician (Solar) at 2 project sites under O&M contracts in Gambang and Gebeng, Pahang:
UITM Solar Park 1 site (Gambang)
a) Possess a minimum Certificate in Electrical Engineering discipline with experience in electrical maintenance services of minimum 2 years;
b) Familiarize with Solar PV system and maintenance is an additional advantage;
c) Demonstrates the ability to read, write, speak and understand the languages commonly in use within the UiTM Solar Park 1 – English and Bahasa;
d) Certified, competent and trained personnel that comply with local’s legislation requirements.
e) Be physically fit and healthy, having taken all the precautionary medical requirements and inoculations.
f) Be presentable and diligent in performing specified duties;
g) Able to perform the duties cheerfully and efficiently and capable of taking instructions and working under the nominal supervision.
h) Local employed and carried duties for daily technical activity.
RE Gebeng site (Gebeng)
a) Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of Photovoltaic (PV) inverters, combiner boxes, solar panels and other components.
b) Able to perform rectification hardware, PV modules, inverters, monitoring equipment and any other component within the solar site
c) Able perform electrical testing using proper tools and equipment and standard operation procedures.
d) Assist engineer compile report, document and others
e) Able to perform preventative and corrective maintenance as directed by engineer/manager with minimal supervision.
f) Able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures and regulations.
g) Maintains all tools, equipment, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition.
Qualifications
1. Possess at least Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate SKMM Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering
Experience
a) 1 year experience in electrical and communication system maintenance
b) 1 year working experience in Solar O&M industry
Skill
1. Competent skills using Microsoft office software’s like Outlook, Excel, Word
2. Have good organization, communication, planning, analytical and administrative skill to supervise general worker and client.
3. Identify potential problems and suggest changes or corrective actions.
4. Have basic understanding for monitoring communication used in PV system for troubleshooting.
5. Good knowledge in O&M work procedure
6. Capable of working independently or in a team environment
Know and able to comply with safety standard and regulation during working.
