Vacancy: Instrument Drafter
Location: Cyberjaya
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics for instrumentation and control systems.
2) Work closely with designer and engineers to translate concepts and specifications into design drawings.
3) Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements in all design work.
4) Review and update drawings as needed to reflect changes in design or project scope.
5) Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of design documentation.
6) Assist with site surveys and verify installation requirements.

Key Requirements:
1) Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Drafter or similar role.
2) Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
3) Proficiency in AutoCAD, P&ID design, and related drafting software
4) Familiarity with instrumentation symbols, schematics, and process diagrams.
5) Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
6) Ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality designs.

Key Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in electronic or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.

MTC Engineering Consultancy Sdn Bhd Appointed as Civil and Structural Consultant for Jabatan Kerja Raya Infrastructure Upgrading Project in Shah Alam.

MTC Engineering Consultancy Sdn Bhd (MTCEC) has secured its appointment as Civil and Structural Consultant for an infrastructure upgrading project titled “Kerja Awalan Menaik Taraf Tiga Persimpangan di Jalan Subang hingga Persiaran Jubli Perak (FT3214), Petaling, Selangor (Rekabentuk & Pengambilan Tanah)” under Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) in Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The appointment was formalised following a Kick-Off Meeting held on 26 February 2026, subsequent to the issuance of the Letter of Award dated 13 February 2026. The consultancy services are to be delivered under a 74-month contract period, marking a notable achievement in MTCEC’s portfolio of public sector infrastructure projects.

Under this engagement, MTCEC will provide a comprehensive suite of professional engineering services, including geotechnical engineering, road, bridge and infrastructure works.

MTCE at Malaysian Bid Round (MBR) 2026

MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd (MTCE) is proud to announce our participation in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) in conjunction with Malaysian Bid Round 2026, held on 11 February 2026 (Wednesday).

The exchange of the MoU was officiated by MTCE Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed Baqthiar Mad Saad, and Malaysia Petroleum Management, Senior General Manager Resource Development & Management, Nurunnajwa Mohd Aras.
