Industry Project Title: Developing Robot Pick and Place with Smart Analytical IoT System for Digitalization of the Manufacturing System
Description: Join our dynamic Industry Focus Project aimed at revolutionizing manufacturing processes through the integration of advanced robotics and IoT systems. This one-year contract position involves working directly with industry partners to develop and implement a state-of-the-art pick and place system enhanced with smart analytical IoT capabilities. Key project components include:
1. Optimizing Pick and Place Processes: Leverage Cobot robots and the Robot Operating System (ROS) to enhance precision and efficiency.
2. Implementing IoT for Real-Time Quality Monitoring: Utilize devices like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Blynk to ensure continuous quality assurance.
3. Integrating Operational Analytics for Efficiency: Collect and analyze operational data such as machine utilization, cycle times, and energy consumption using IoT sensors.
4. Developing a Digitalized Smart System: Create an interconnected system that brings together robotics and IoT for a streamlined manufacturing process with smart analysis.
Position Details:
1. Duration: 12 months (Available from September 2024 onwards) - contract
2. Monthly Allowance: RM3000 (for 12 months)
3. Additional Support: Transportation to the industry site and hardware/software purchase are covered,
Note: This is a practical development position focused on industry application, not for academic Master or PhD study.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum degree in engineering (preferably Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, or Mechanical) with a strong background in ROS, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Blynk. Master's graduates are welcome to apply.
2. Independent and self-motivated with strong analytical thinking skills.
3. Responsible and proactive in task management, with a commitment to meeting industry deadlines.
