We are pleased to announce that 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 (𝗜𝗽𝗼𝗵) 𝗦𝗱𝗻 𝗕𝗵𝗱, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kawan Renergy Berhad, secures a biomass 2 MWe Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement (REPPA) from SEDA Malaysia in August 2026.

As its main fuel will be bamboo chips, this PP will be the first of such in Malaysia.

This is definitely a meaningful step forward of our journey towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. ⚡🌱

Kawan Renergy Berhad is proud to support the “520 Youth Mental Health Day 2026”, organized by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Ipoh on 23 May 2026, reaffirming our commitment to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives—particularly in community well-being and youth development.

The programme aims to raise awareness of youth mental health, emotional well-being, and healthy communication among young people and families through meaningful activities, including psychology sharing sessions, emotional wellness awareness programmes, and art healing activities.

This meaningful initiative is expected to benefit approximately 130 participants, mainly youths and children from three orphanages and welfare homes, by providing them with a safe and supportive platform for learning, engagement, and emotional support.

At Kawan, we believe that sustainable development is not only about business growth but also about building a healthier, more compassionate, and resilient community for future generations. Mental health awareness is an important social agenda, especially for youths navigating today’s fast-changing environment.
