𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐔𝐒, 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒, 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒

Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SEC) held its Integrity, Property & Safety Day 2026 from 11 to 12 August at Menara SEC, bringing together employees, government agencies and industry partners.

The event was jointly officiated by SEC Chairman, YBhg. Datuk Annuar Ayub; SEC Group Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Datuk Ir. Ts. Adzmir Abd Rahman; and SPRM Sabah Director, YBhg. Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah. It was witnessed by members of the SEC Board of Directors and attended by management, employees and invited guests.

Highlights included the signing of the Ikrar Bebas Rasuah, integrity and safety pledges, expert talks, exhibition booths and a visit to SEC’s SCADA Control Room. The programme also featured an integrity awareness session by SEC and SPRM for 100 students from SM La Salle and ADTEC JTM Kampus Kota Kinabalu.

The two-day programme concluded with a blood donation drive in collaboration with Queen Elizabeth Hospital II, reflecting SEC’s commitment to integrity, responsible property stewardship, workplace safety and community well-being.

Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SEC), led by Encik Mohd. Isa Bin Husin, Acting Head of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), recently conducted stakeholder engagement sessions with DOSH Sandakan, JBPM Sandakan, and NIOSH Sandakan in relation to the Mutiara Cluster Project.

The sessions provided an opportunity to share an overview of the proposed development and initiate early coordination on occupational safety and health, regulatory requirements, emergency preparedness, and capability development.

SEC sincerely appreciates the warm reception, valuable feedback, and continued support extended by all three organisations. We look forward to further collaboration towards the safe and successful implementation of this important project for Sabah’s East Coast.

Strong partnerships between State GLCs and enforcement agencies like PDRM are incredibly important in keeping our neighborhoods secure and well-informed.

On July 11th, SEC proudly supported PDRM Tuaran’s "Hari Bersama Masyarakat" event, bringing together government agencies and local community leaders from the surrounding areas. The event was also attended by SEC Group CEO, Datuk Ir. Ts. Adzmir Abd Rahman, along with SEC delegation.

With digital threats on the rise, the program featured a vital briefing on evolving digital scam tactics to help our community stay alert, mindful, and protected.

This effort is part of SEC’s ongoing CSR initiative to give back to the community, and it aligns perfectly with our ESG goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as we work toward building a safer, more sustainable environment for everyone.

Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SEC) recently hosted an industrial exposure visit to its 5MW Large-Scale Solar (LSS) Farm in Tanjong Kubong, Labuan. Held on June 11, 2026, the visit welcomed 20 students from the Electrical Technology Department of ADTEC Labuan, accompanied by their lecturers: Mr. Joye Tingkolou (Head of Department), Mr. Mohd Zaki Bin Jamaluddin, and Mr. Jumadi Bin Kastari.

The visit provided students with valuable first-hand exposure to career opportunities in Electrical Technology, a deeper understanding of real-world solar power operations, and greater insight into the role of solar energy in supporting the energy sector in the Federal Territory of Labuan.

SEC is proud to support talent development by providing opportunities for knowledge sharing and meaningful industry exposure that bridges academic learning with practical, real-world applications.

In conjunction with the launch of the CiPTA@UMS Commercialisation Incubation Hub (Commercialisation Incubation Partner & Technology Accelerator @ UMS), SEC Group CEO, Datuk Ir. Ts. Adzmir Abd Rahman, was invited as a panel member for a feedback session alongside Sabah Electricity (SE) CEO, Datuk Ir. Ts. Mohd Yaakob Jaafar, and President of the Sabah Bumiputera Chamber of Commerce, Datuk Hasnol Ayub, at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Also in attendance was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for UMS, Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Rahman Dahlan, and UMS Vice Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Kasim Mansor.

The discussion focused on industrial development, energy, and innovation as key drivers in advancing Sabah's growth and development.

Collaboration between academia and industry plays an important role in shaping future-ready solutions, and SEC is pleased to contribute its experience and insights towards initiatives that support innovation, talent development, and Sabah's long-term development.
