When a customer sends us an engineering drawing and a STEP file, they are giving us the product requirements. From there, our engineering team works out how to turn that information into a controlled and repeatable ๐ manufacturing process.
Before machining begins, a complete manufacturing ๐ documentation package is prepared to support the production journey. This includes the CNC program, CNC tool list, technical drawings, inspection standards, fixture photos, part setup photos and part photos.
Each of these serves a purpose. The CNC tool list helps ensure the required tools are ready, while the technical drawings, inspection standards and setup information provide guidance throughout machining, inspection and future production runs.
These may not be the documents our customers see, but they are an important part of what happens behind every finished โ๏ธ component. Whether we are producing a first-off prototype or repeating an order months or years later, having the right information in place helps us maintain consistency from one production run to the next.
Because in precision engineering, the drawing is only the starting point. What makes the difference is everything that happens behind it.
