The Government of Malaysia has introduced the Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 Program to provide more opportunities for electricity consumers to install solar PV systems on the roofs of their respective buildings to save overall electricity bill.
The NEM 3.0 Program will be in effect from 2021 to 2023, with 500 MW of quota allocation.
