As the leader in Green Revolution, Cenviro through its subsidiary Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd, owns and operates Malaysia’s first integrated Waste Management Centre in Negeri Sembilan which has been in operation since 1998. The centre holds the license to handle 76 categori
es of 77 scheduled wastes listed under Environment Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulation 2005 for collection, treatment, recycling, recovery and final disposal. Cenviro also involved in integrated solid waste management through its joint-venture company, E-Idaman Sdn Bhd. Additionally, Cenviro extends its operations in electronic waste management via its associate stake in Shan Poornam Metals Sdn Bhd. Cenviro continues to provide innovative and sustainable waste management and renewable energy solution for the sustainability of the environment in the country namely EPIC, Environmental Preservation and Innovation Centre (a state-of-the-art integrated training and development centre for the complete spectrum of waste management), Scheduled Waste to Energy (Malaysia’s first scheduled waste to energy plant), Secured Vertical Landfill (innovative methodology creating more air space in existing landfill) and Recycle for Life (a recycling program that rewards cash, the first-of-its-kind in the country).
