🎥 Turning food waste into a meaningful learning experience!

Recently, our team visited SJKC Kampung Ampang Baru to share about Black Soldier Fly (BSF) and how these tiny insects help reduce food waste while protecting our environment 🌱♻️

From interactive games to the hands-on feeding session, it was amazing to see the teachers actively joining in and learning more about sustainable agriculture together with us. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and enthusiastic participation! 💚

We’re especially grateful to all the teachers for taking the time to participate, ask questions, and experience the BSF feeding session with such enthusiasm. By learning more about sustainability and environmental protection, teachers can continue sharing these valuable lessons with the next generation and inspire more young minds to care for our planet 🌍✨

Teachers from SJKC Kg Baru Ampang recently stepped into the world of BSF farming during the BSF Heroes Training Workshop together with Malaysian Social Entrepreneurs Foundation (MSEF), exploring how food waste can be transformed into something valuable through sustainable systems. 🌱

Starting from zero, the teachers were introduced to the fundamentals of Black Soldier Fly farming and got a closer look at how these systems operate in real life. Instead of just learning through presentations, they experienced the process firsthand, from observing the larvae systems to understanding how waste is managed and repurposed.

The workshop also focused on data collection skills, showing teachers how tracking growth, waste processing, and system performance plays an important role in maintaining efficient BSF operations. It highlighted how sustainability is not only about ideas and awareness, but also about research, monitoring, and practical application.

By gaining firsthand exposure to these systems, the teachers can now bring these insights back to their classrooms, helping nurture greater awareness among students about sustainability, food waste management, and circular economy practices from a younger age.

An inspiring and fun-filled session at SJK(C) Kampung Baru Ampang 🎉🌱This program we work together with Malaysian Social Entrepreneurs Foundation (MSEF).

Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit SJK(C) Kampung Baru Ampang to share about Microalgae & Black Soldier Fly (BSF) and how they help consume food waste & reduce carbon dioxide while protecting our environment ♻️🐛

We are grateful to all the teachers who joined our sharing session, participated in the mini games, and even experienced the BSF feeding session together with us! It was amazing to see everyone being so curious, supportive, and excited to learn more about sustainable waste management.

We also hope the teachers can continue guiding and inspiring the children in schools to build awareness on sustainability from a young age, nurturing a generation that cares for the environment and practices greener habits in daily life 🌱👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

And lastly, Happy Belated Teachers’ Day to all the amazing educators out there! Thank you for your dedication, patience, and passion in shaping the future generation 💚✨

After 8 months of using our microalgae solution, this cassava farm has shown amazing results 🌱✨

The cassava is growing bigger, healthier, and the overall yield has increased significantly. At the same time, the farmer was able to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizer used while still achieving better growth.

This is what we believe in — improving soil biology naturally, helping farmers reduce costs, and creating a more sustainable future for agriculture 🌍💚

Turning carbon into something useful—here’s how we do it 🌱

Microalgae may be simple, but they’re powerful. With just light, nutrients, and CO₂, they grow while helping us reduce carbon in the air.

At ATOZ, we create the right conditions using our cultivation systems to make this process efficient and scalable.

Today, with hundreds of tanks and multiple projects running, we’re already capturing carbon every single day--sequestering ~188 kg of CO2/day and ~68 tons of CO2 every year—adding up to a meaningful impact over time 🌍

What if one of the most powerful climate solutions isn’t something big—but something microscopic? 🌊

Microalgae may be tiny, but they play a huge role in our planet’s balance. Living in water, they take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen—quietly supporting life as we know it.

In fact, more than 50% of the oxygen we breathe comes from them, while they also capture carbon at least 10x more efficiently than many land plants.
