When individuals are given the opportunity to learn, communities thrive.

Through our Re-skilling Community Programme (ReCP), we continue to invest in the long-term development of youth and communities along the Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline (SSGP), equipping them with practical skills that open doors to meaningful employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Since 2023, the programme has benefitted 390 participants through targeted technical, vocational and entrepreneurship initiatives designed to strengthen employability and economic resilience.

The recently conducted Scaffolding Level 2 Programme provided participants with industry-recognised certification and hands-on training, helping them build both technical expertise and the confidence to pursue new career pathways.

At PETRONAS, we believe sustainable progress begins with people. By investing in skills development, we are helping to create stronger communities and enable individuals to build better futures for themselves and their families.
