We were honoured to welcome our distinguished guests, Encik Ahmad Fauzi bin Awang from the Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (JKKP) Pahang, and Encik Helmy bin Mohamed Yatim from the Jabatan Seni Bina of Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan, whose presence and participation made the occasion even more meaningful.

More than just an event, it was an opportunity to welcome 𝟭,𝟲𝟯𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 ranging from employees' families, the local community, and government agencies into our workplace, showcasing the work we do, and celebrate the people behind our success. We are grateful to our employees and their loved ones whose dedication, encouragement, and support continue to make our achievements possible.

Another successful year of making a positive impact! 💚

As part of our 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲, proudly held in collaboration with the 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 (𝑴𝑵𝑺), 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 from employees, partners, volunteers, and members of the community came together with a shared commitment to protecting and restoring Malaysia's valuable coastal ecosystems.

Together, we successfully planted 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀, contributing to the restoration of vital mangrove habitats that enhance biodiversity, strengthen coastal resilience, and support long-term climate action.

🐢 Adding to the day's meaningful activities, participants also had the opportunity to 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻—a memorable experience that symbolised hope for the future and reinforced the importance of protecting Malaysia's rich marine biodiversity alongside its coastal ecosystems.

This annual initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and demonstrates what can be achieved when like-minded organisations and communities unite for a common purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make this year's programme another meaningful success. Every mangrove planted today is an investment in a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.

🏆 The strongest innovations happen when industry and academia work hand in hand.

We are honoured to receive the Anugerah Rakan Industri Terbaik at the Majlis Hari Kualiti dan Inovasi (HKI) 2026, held by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) on 19 June 2026.

The award was received by AM Tan, Managing Director of BASF PETRONAS Chemicals, on behalf of the company, in recognition of our long-standing collaboration with UMPSA.

Strong partnerships between industry and academia play a critical role in developing future-ready talent, accelerating innovation, and addressing real-world challenges. Through our collaboration with UMPSA, we have worked together to create opportunities for students, strengthen industry-relevant learning, and foster knowledge exchange that benefits both the education ecosystem and industry.

This recognition is not only a reflection of our partnership to date, but also an encouragement to continue building meaningful collaborations that contribute to Malaysia’s innovation and sustainability agenda.
