📢 Job Vacancies – KUTS Red Line Project (Kuching, Sarawak)

1. Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably with a China Construction Company.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Solid experience in both pre- & post-contract works in building construction.
- Experienced in settlements with subcontractors, main contractors, and clients.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost estimation, and materials budgeting.
- Preferably has a network of subcontractor resources in Kuching.
- Skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making across various construction levels.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize tasks and respond with urgency when needed.
- Reliable, responsible, and confident in handling sensitive data.
- Willing to work full-time in Kuching and have at least 2 years of QS experience in Kuching.
- Preferably, candidates who are passionate and originate from Kuching.
- Familiar with relevant local regulations and industry standards.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
2. Contract Executive
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contract Executive, preferably with a China Construction Company.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Experience in both pre- & Post Contract works and negotiation with main contractors or clients.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, measurement rules, and Sarawak contract law.
- Familiar with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills within the scope of the main contract administration.
- Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Able to manage tasks efficiently and respond to challenges with urgency.
- Highly dependable and detail-oriented.
- Able to work full-time in Kuching with at least 2 years of relevant QS experience in the local market.
- Preferably, candidates who are from Kuching and passionate about contributing locally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
