The General Manager of Capital Development yesterday, 1st May 2020 inspected a 2-acre land at a place called Bawei around Awoshie area to begin a low-cost housing for the middle class of Ghana.
This affordable housing units will be first of its kind in the history of Ghana be the most affordable and also from private individuals. The GM said, these housing units will target Teachers, Civil Savants and young entrepreneurs. He said there are plans for the people in the services (Police, Army, Fire service etc.) as well and even the Taxi Drivers, Market women and “Trotro” drivers. His end goal is to make housing affordable for everyone.
