Good governance starts with awareness and is strengthened through action.

For LUNAS, integrity and risk management go beyond policies. They shape how decisions are made, how risks are addressed and how accountability is upheld across the organisation.

Understanding these responsibilities also means knowing the legal obligations under Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009, recognising potential risks and knowing the policies and controls in place to guide ethical business practices.

These were among the key areas explored through the Awareness Programme on Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 and LUNAS Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) held at LUNAS Langkawi Shipyard (LLS) on 14–15 September 2026, involving 77 employees and management representatives.

Ultimately, building a resilient organisation starts with knowing the risks, making informed decisions and doing the right thing.

For the second time this year, the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) was showcased to the public during the 93rd Anniversary of the Malaysian Armed Forces celebrations at the Royal Malaysian Navy Base in Lumut, giving the public a firsthand look at one of Malaysia’s most significant maritime defence assets.

Behind every vessel is an ecosystem of people, expertise and industry. From local talent and OEMs to suppliers and industry partners, each plays a part in bringing the LCS to life and strengthening Malaysia’s maritime defence capabilities.

Because what we build is not only measured by the vessel that takes shape, but by the capabilities, people and industry we build along the way.
