Sempena Bulan Kemerdekaan, warga LUNAS tampil menggayakan batik dalam pelbagai gaya dan warna, sebagai tanda menghargai warisan yang menjadi sebahagian daripada identiti Malaysia.

Lebih daripada sekadar corak dan warna, batik membawa bersama nilai seni, kreativiti dan cerita yang diwarisi dari satu generasi ke generasi seterusnya.

Dari Lumut, Langkawi hingga Kuala Lumpur, batik menyatukan kita dalam satu warisan Malaysia.

As part of our transformation journey, Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) is fostering cultural change through continuous learning, collaboration and people development.

This commitment was reflected through the High Impact A.C.E 360ยฐ Work Culture training programme, conducted on 5 and 6 August 2026 and led by Encik Mohamad Nizam Abdul Samar Zammi, NLP Practitioner.

The programme focused on building self-awareness, strengthening ownership and communication, enhancing team performance and developing effective problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement in the workplace.

Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) welcomed the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), led by YBhg. Tan Sri Datoโ€™ Seri Dr. Ir. Ahmad Tajuddin Ali, Joint Chairman (Industry) on 10 August 2026.

Warmly welcomed by our Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Azhar Jumaat, the delegation gained first-hand insight into our shipyard capabilities, expertise and ongoing developments to potentially develop high value talents.

This will further position LUNAS as a leader in advanced naval SBSR maritime technology.

Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS) welcomed a delegation from ST Engineering Marine on 5 August 2026, led by Rear Admiral (Retired) Harris Chan, Executive Vice President, Head of International Business and Head of Naval & Maritime Security Services.

The visit provided an opportunity for both organisations to exchange insights on shipbuilding capabilities, maritime solutions and potential areas of collaboration. The delegation also received an overview of LUNASโ€™s ongoing initiatives, followed by a tour of the shipyard facilities.

The engagement reflects LUNASโ€™s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships and supporting the growth of the maritime and defence industry.

Promoting employee wellbeing through active lifestyles and meaningful engagement remains part of LUNASโ€™s commitment towards a connected workforce.

As part of this commitment, LUNAS supported its employeesโ€™ participation in the YB Wong May Ing Badminton Championship 2026, where our representatives demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition, securing 3rd place in the Loose Bracket category.

The championship was held on 25 July 2026 at Chin Tai Kok Moral Uplifting Society, Pantai Remis, Perak.

Because at LUNAS, we are not just building ships. We are building a healthier community for a stronger nation.
