๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿš€ Sci-Tech 4U: MOSTI STEM CAMP 2025 (ROV)

Throwback Highlight of Dec 2025

As we close the year, we look back on one of the most inspiring STEM programs of 2025 โ€”
the Sci-Tech 4U: MOSTI STEM CAMP 2025 (ROV), held on 9 December 2025 at UniKL MIMET, Lumut, Perak.

This impactful program, funded by MOSTI and supported by IEEE OES Malaysia Chapter, was jointly organized by IEEE OES Malaysia Chapter and Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with UniKL MIMET.

The camp focused on Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) development, giving students first-hand exposure to the exciting world of underwater robotics and marine engineering.
A total of 117 students from 14 primary schools and 11 secondary schools across the Manjung District participated in this immersive, hands-on experience.

Students designed, built, and operated their own underwater robots โ€” strengthening not only their technical skills, but also critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

Beyond robotics, the program nurtured environmental awareness and sustainability, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water), while introducing participants to real-world marine challenges and future career pathways in engineering and technology.

The overwhelming positive feedback from students and teachers affirmed the programโ€™s success and its lasting impact on young minds.

It was more than a camp โ€” it was a launchpad for the next generation of STEM innovators.
Hereโ€™s to more meaningful STEM initiatives in the years ahead ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿค–
