[A] Architectural Inspector of Works (IOW)
Location: Pusat Konservasi Tapir Kebangsaan, Taman Negeri Kenaboi, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan
Project Value: Below RM 20 million
Employment Type: Contract, 40 months
[B] Role
We are seeking a qualified Architectural Inspector of Works (IOW) to supervise and ensure all architectural works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. The position requires a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and effective coordination with consultants and contractors to maintain design and construction integrity.
[C] Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Architecture.
• Preferably registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) as an Inspector of Works (IOW).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience supervising architectural works for building projects valued below RM 20 million.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, detailing, and building materials.
• Familiar with QLASSIC standards and local authority compliance.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong report-writing skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
