Thailand government has introduced tax incentives to encourage businesses to adopt large commercial electric vehicles (EVs), such as buses and trucks. Companies investing in locally manufactured or assembled EVs can deduct expenses at twice the actual cost, while imported EVs qualify for a 1.5 times deduction. These measures, valid until December 31, 2025, aim to support the adoption of 10,000 commercial EVs and enhance Thailand's competitiveness in targeted industries and the Eastern Economic Corridor. Businesses must meet specific criteria, including submitting investment plans and ensuring the EVs comply with legal and quality standards.

The government has approved tax measures to support the use of large commercial electric vehicles (EVs) by businesses.

Challenges faced by all logistics companies regarding drivers include:

1. Instability in drivers' work attitudes.
2. Reckless driving behaviors, such as handling trucks as if they were sports cars.
3. The monotony of long working hours leading to fatigue and drowsiness.
4. The dangers of operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. High salary demands coupled with the difficulty in recruiting drivers.

The goal is to introduce KargoBot's heavy-duty truck autonomous platooning driving solutions to Thailand and Malaysia. Leveraging Elenergy Southeast Asia’s resources and influence in the local market, aims to develop innovative green and low-carbon logistic application.

On November 15, the "Clean Energy · Driving the Future" — Elenergy Thailand · Geely Commercial Vehicle - Farizon New Energy Heavy-Duty Truck Launch Event was grandly held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Farizon H9 full electric heavy-duty truck with integrated charging and battery swapping option made a stunning debut, opening a new chapter of low-carbon and efficient logistics transportation in Thailand with new experiences and dynamics.

Creating intelligent connectivity and leading green industry. Since 2023, Elenergy Thailand, together with the Farizon brand, has entered Thailand, relying on a global perspective to actively promote the development of the Elenergy and Farizon brands in Thailand, focusing on "sales and business model breakthroughs," enhancing product competitiveness and market marketing, and fully expanding the markets in Thailand and surrounding Southeast Asian countries.

At the same time, Elenergy Thailand will also deploy a self-developed green logistic digital platform based on Farizon's new products in the local market of Thailand, build and operate energy supply infrastructure networks such as EV charging and battery swapping stations suitable for the Farizon brand and other vehicle types, implement refined management of new energy vehicle operations, energy supply, maintenance, achieve data visualization for the fleet operation and safety, intelligent scheduling and managing of transportation tasks, real-time monitoring of energy consumption, and pre-management of energy costs, and ultimately achieve the sustainable development goal and carbon reduction goal of logistics scenarios through digital transformation and intelligent management.

During the launch event, Elenergy China (Chengdu Grand New Trust Chain Technology Co., Ltd.), Elenergy Thailand also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with KargoBot, a leading enterprise in the field of autonomous driving from China, aiming to introduce KargoBot's heavy-duty truck autonomous platooning driving solutions to Thailand, relying on Elenergy Thailand's market resources and influence in the local logistics field to jointly develop innovative green and low-carbon application scenarios.

At the same time, Elenergy Thailand also signed an MOU with IGU (Impact Green Utilities) who provides a
wide range of services in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy consulting, design, and construction. It is currently expanding its portfolio to incorporate electric vehicle and batteries solutions customized for logistics and supply chain management, driving development in sustainable utility and infrastructure projects in Thailand.

The two parties will jointly start innovative cooperation in the fields of clean energy manufacturing and consumption, and zero-carbon logistics operations in Thailand and surrounding Southeast Asian countries, using the Farizon brand and its multiple new energy commercial vehicles as a basis, combined with the Elenergy zero-carbon logistics digital ecosystem operation matrix that integrates "vehicle sales, after-sales maintenance, energy supply, digitalization operation, and carbon reduction data collection," to introduce innovative and high-quality products, including full electric heavy-duty truck models with charging and battery swapping and methanol-hydrogen electric vehicle models to Southeast Asian countries, empowering various logistics scenarios such as local ports, mines, and bulk cargo.
