On 16 February 2026, Bio-Angle Vacs Sdn. Bhd. (BAV) had the honour of welcoming Datuk Dr. Mohd Noor Hisham bin Mohd Haron, together with his delegation from the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS), to our vaccine production facility at UPM-MTDC Technology Centre III.

The delegation comprised Dr. Adam Kwan Abdullah and other senior officers from DVS.

Our top management team was also present to receive the visitors, including:

• Puan Noor Shazreena Ishak, Chief Executive Officer

During the visit, the DVS team explored BAV’s key innovations:

🔬 A GMP-designed bacterial (inactivated) vaccine manufacturing facility — the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
🐐 STVac Intranasal Spray Vaccine, a world-first innovation capable of reducing pneumonia-related mortality in goats and sheep by up to 98%.
🐟 ViVac Feed-Based Vaccine, offering up to 80% survival protection against vibriosis in marine fish.

This visit demonstrates DVS’s strong support for strengthening Malaysia’s local veterinary vaccine ecosystem — a crucial step towards national preparedness, reducing dependence on imports, and driving long-term food security.
