The Use of SPF Chicken Embryonated Eggs in Diagnostics 🥚

In virology, Specific Pathogen-Free (SPF) chicken embryonated eggs play a crucial role in virus isolation, biological characterization, and viral titration. Here’s why they’re indispensable:

🔹 Virus Isolation – SPF eggs provide a sterile environment, free from maternal antibodies, making them ideal for isolating viruses from clinical samples.

Internal Training: Real-Time PCR (qPCR) for Detection of NDV

On 18th June 2025, Abadiah Laboratori conducted an internal training session for our laboratory personnel, focusing on the principles of real-time PCR (qPCR) and the result interpretation for detection of Newcastle disease virus (NDV).

This training aimed to strengthen our team’s understanding of molecular diagnostic techniques and reinforce consistency and accuracy in laboratory practices.
