Apical Scientific is Hiring: Part-Time Laboratory Assistant (Custom Team, Contract)
Are you an undergraduate or postgraduate student living in the Serdang, Bangi, Balakong, or Cheras area and looking for a part-time job?

If you are studying Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or another relevant science-related field, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience by joining our Custom Team as a Part-Time Laboratory Assistant.

Job Responsibilities
• General laboratory housekeeping.
• DNA and RNA extraction.
• PCR.
• Molecular cloning.
• Other laboratory duties as assigned by the Laboratory Officer or Laboratory Technician.

Requirements
• Good pipetting skills.
• Able to focus and pay close attention to detail during laboratory work and experiments.
• Positive working attitude, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• A background in Molecular Biology is an added advantage.

Remuneration
RM10 per hour

Working Hours
4 hours per day (choose one time slot):
• 09:00 am – 01:00 pm, OR
• 01:00 pm – 05:00 pm

Working Days
Monday to Friday

🧗‍♀️ H1 Mental Health Awareness 2026: Climbing Beyond Our Limits! 🧗‍♂️

This year, the Apical Scientific team stepped out of our comfort zones and took on an exciting new challenge at Batuu Climbing!

From dynamic bouldering—climbing without ropes—to high-reaching rope climbing, every route tested our strength, focus, confidence and determination. It was challenging and tiring, but also incredibly fun and rewarding!

Some climbs felt difficult, but we encouraged one another, kept trying and did our very best to reach our goals. Every grip, step and attempt reminded us that progress is not always about reaching the top—it is also about having the courage to begin and the resilience to keep going.

Together, we climbed higher, grew stronger and created unforgettable memories! 💪✨

Apical Scientific are grateful to have successfully completed the 2026 Bioreactor Awareness Workshop together with TJX Bioengineering at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Over two days, participants gained valuable hands-on experience in bioreactor operation, process control, PAT applications, and real-world bioprocessing workflows. It was encouraging to see the enthusiasm, active discussions, and strong engagement from everyone throughout the workshop.

A heartfelt thank you to our partner TJX Bioengineering for sharing their expertise and making this workshop a success.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), especially Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shaiful Sajab, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norliza Abd.
