Official Clarification Statement – ICITS Conference

The Malaysia Sports Technology Association (MySTA) hereby issues this clarification to prevent confusion within the academic and professional community.

A conference titled “International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Sports (ICITS)” currently being promoted by the Society for Engineering Research (SFER) is NOT organised, co-organised, endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with MySTA in any capacity.

MySTA has been the sole and official organiser of the International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Sports (ICITS) for the past four (4) consecutive editions. All MySTA-organised ICITS conferences are conducted exclusively under MySTA’s governance, branding, and official communication channels.

For the avoidance of doubt:

•⁠ ⁠The event promoted by SFER does not form part of MySTA’s ICITS conference series
•⁠ ⁠Any calls for papers, registrations, proceedings, or communications related to that event do not represent MySTA
•⁠ ⁠MySTA assumes no responsibility or liability for the organisation, academic content, peer-review process, publications, financial matters, or outcomes of that event

Members, partners, authors, reviewers, and past ICITS participants are strongly advised to verify conference information only through MySTA’s official platforms.

This notice is issued solely for clarification and to safeguard the integrity of MySTA-organised conferences.
