We recently completed stakeholder engagement sessions for what will also be Cenergi SEAโ€™s first carbon project from our operations โ€“ with carbon credits derived solely from methane capture activities.

The sessions were held:
- ๐Ÿญ Physically at Kwantas Pintasan Palm Oil Mill on 22 April 2026
- ๐Ÿ’ป Virtually on 27 April 2026

Conducted in line with the VCS Program requirements, we were pleased to welcome active participation from local stakeholders, including representatives from Sabah GHG Unit, Kinabatangan Fire Department, Estate Managers and Mill Representatives.

With AFA adjusting month-to-month, electricity costs are becoming less predictable, especially as the forecast has shifted from a rebate to a premium.

This change is driving more attention from commercial and industrial users, particularly those with higher daytime consumption.

๐Ÿ’ก For sites with higher daytime load, rooftop solar can typically reduce electricity bills by around 20โ€“50%, while helping to cushion the impact of AFA fluctuations.

Cenergi Appreciation Day 2026 โœจ

Cenergi proudly hosted its 2026 Appreciation Day this Aprilโ€”a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the contributions, commitment, and achievements of our people.

This annual event shines a spotlight on employees who demonstrate dedication, strong performance, and a deep commitment to Cenergiโ€™s values.

A key highlight of the day was the Long Service Award, recognising employees who have reached 5 and 10 years of service. A total of 22 employees were honoured, and their loyalty continues to drive our organisation forward.

We also celebrated our Wellness Champion Award recipientsโ€”individuals who inspire a healthier, more balanced workplace and encourage others to prioritise their wellbeing.

The HSE Award winnersโ€”comprising the Audit Award and Hazard Reporting Initiativeโ€”were presented to plants that excelled during audits, showcasing strong compliance, robust safety practices, and high operational discipline.

Adding to the celebration, we honoured our Special Award (NEA) 2025 winnersโ€”Cenergi West, NEDA Power Sg. Tiang, and Cenergi Langkapโ€”for their outstanding achievements at the National Energy Awards.

This year also marked an exciting milestone with the introduction of five new award categories, celebrating individuals who drive positive change, share their expertise beyond the organisation, and strengthen Cenergiโ€™s presence through meaningful external engagement. A total of 16 employees were recognised under these new categories.

Cenergiโ€™s 2026 Appreciation Day reflects the strength of our culture and the power of teamwork. Congratulations to all award recipients and thank you to everyone for your dedication and commitment.

We are happy to share that Cenergi FJP Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded the Highly Commendable Engineering Achievement Award by The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) at the 67th IEM Annual Dinner & Awards Night on 18 April 2026. ๐ŸŒฟโšก

Located in Jerantut, Pahang, the project was developed with FELCRA Jayaputra Sdn. Bhd. and executed across multiple phases under complex conditions, converting palm oil mill effluent (POME) into renewable electricity while reducing environmental impact.

Recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the Biggest POME Grid-Connected Biogas Power Plant in Malaysia (5.5MW), this milestone reflects our commitment to engineering excellence and Malaysiaโ€™s energy transition.

โšก A New Milestone for Cenergi

Weโ€™re proud to announce that Cenergi Solar Kuala Ketil (CSKK), our wholly-owned 29.99MWac large-scale solar farm under the Corporate Green Power Program (CGPP), has officially commenced operations on 2 April 2026. The facility is now supplying clean energy to the grid and enabling virtual green power consumption for our corporate consumers.

CSKK is the largest solar farm under Cenergi's portfolio, and the second one which operates under the New Enhanced Dispatch Arrangement (NEDA) mechanism. It is located at Kuala Ketil, Kedah and the electricity is injected into the grid via a 132kV injection point.

This milestone is made possible with the strong collaboration and support from Single Buyer, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, the Grid System Operator (GSO), and all relevant Authorities. Thank you for being part of this journey. ๐Ÿ‘
