A swab or product test came back abnormal.
No one panicked — because the real question isn’t “How bad is it?”

The real question is:
✅ Can you trace the source within 24 hours?
Which zone? Which line? Which CIP circuit? Which tank, valve, gasket, hose, or operator touchpoint?

Because in food processing, minutes matter:
Fast traceability → fast containment → reduced product hold/reject → protected brand.

QA/QC reality: auditors don’t accept assumptions.
They want evidence — sanitation records, verification results, trend data, and CAPA.
