A Confined Space Rescue Team is a trained team responsible for rescuing workers who are trapped, injured, or unconscious inside a confined space such as tanks, manholes, silos, sewers, pits, or boilers.

The rescue team must be trained, equipped, and ready before any confined space work

Rescue Method

Non-entry rescue - Rescue without entering space (using tripod & winch)

Entry rescue - Rescue team enters space with SCBA

Vertical rescue - Rescue from tank/manhole

Horizontal rescue - Rescue from tunnel/duct
