⚓ SMARTER SHIPBUILDING STARTS ON THE SHOP FLOOR

On 21 August 2026, VITAWANI Shipbuilding hosted the 2026 VITAWANI Smart Shipyard Open Day, bringing together shipbuilding experience, production improvement and modern welding technology right here in Sarawak.

From workshop planning and submerged arc welding to automated welding robots and block fabrication, the event focused on one important question:

👉 How can we build ships smarter, safer and more efficiently? 👈

Together with CAS Cogniser, Guigu Marine Limited and our industry partners, we exchanged practical ideas, explored new technologies and demonstrated how automation can support the future of shipbuilding.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the technical discussions and demonstrations.
