Float Valve Function

A float valve is an automatic valve used to control the water level in a tank.

How It Works
When the water level drops, the float ball moves down and opens the valve, allowing water to enter the tank.
When the water level rises to the preset level, the float ball moves up and closes the valve, stopping the water supply.

Main Functions
1. Maintain Water Level
- Keeps the water tank at the desired level automatically.
2. Prevent Overflow
- Stops water from continuously entering the tank when it is full.
3. Reduce Water Wastage
- Prevents water loss due to overflowing.
4. Protect Pumping System
- Helps ensure a stable water supply and prevents unnecessary pump operation.

Common Problems
~ Float ball punctured and filled with water.
~ Valve worn out and unable to shut off completely.
~ Corrosion, scaling, or debris causing the valve to jam.
