Society of Petroleum Engineers of University Teknologi PETRONAS Student Chapter (SPE-UTP-SC) was established in June 2004. Since then, with great enthusiasm we have been organizing various national and international events, most prominently, Oil and Gas Symposium (OGS) 2009 and Asia Pacific Student Conference (APSC) 2013. Besides, SPE-UTP-SC was also awarded an honor award, Best International Achievement for the year 2013 for its active participation in various competitions and conferences held in other universities, both locally and internationally. This year, with immense aspiration, SPE-UTP-SC is proud to present the Oil and Gas Competition and Exhibition (OGCE) 2014. The four-day event provides a much needed platform for students in petroleum engineering and geosciences departments to gather and compete in various competitions. With its theme, ‘Fuelling the Future of Energy Generation’, OGCE aims to mould the minds of future oil and gas employees towards an awareness for a more sustainable future.
