Some test run with coriander. Some plants on chemical fertilizer and two on fertilizer from the biogas digester. Plants on chemical fertilizer on average harvest around 60-70 grams of coriander per plant. Plants on effluent from our digester (with just kitchen waste) produced average 95-100 grams of coriander per plant. Then come the surprise. We bought a package(we checked the date) from a shop and took some of the home grown. Lightly fried in the pan, then milled. Oi Oi, homegrown got a much richer flavor. We hooked.!!!! Our hard work and efforts surely paid off.
