Educational 3D Tech Solutions

EdTech 3D (the educational department of the services division of GadgetBoy 3D solutions), provides Educational 3D Technology solutions.

One of GadgetBoy3D's biggest goals is to introduce 3D Printing in the education sector in Namibia and to help create awareness about the benefits of the technology. 3D Printing empowers students and educators and provides them with the ultimate tool for turning ideas into physical objects. However, GadgetBoy 3D not only focuses on the education sector, but also provides a multitude of educational services to various institutions and individuals from various sectors, such as: Design and 3D Printing services for Prototyping needs; Research and Development projects, using emerging 3D tech; 3D Printed scale models for educational demonstrations and/or exhibitions; School visits at the 3D Printing lab; 3D Printing introductory workshops; Creating educational models for educational institutions and assistance with implementing 3D Printing technology; Setup of tech labs (Tinker Labs) or Creation (Maker) Stations; Supply of 3D printers and consumables (including maintenance and training), etc.

Planned after school classes for learners include: Moms, tots & bots - STEAM education (for caregivers and children, ages 5 - 7) Gadget Girls - Tech for Her (technology introduction for girls, ages 10 - 12); Mak3rs eD - Educate to Create (junior classes, ages 7 - 12 & senior classes, ages 13 - 18)

Other projects include: 3D Printing Namibia - monthly maker gatherings; The largest community-based Maker Space in Namibia; Release the annual Nam-Tech expo and 3D Tech magazine for Namibian tech enthusiasts.
