𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗔

WESCO Waste Management is proud to have commissioned Namibia's first 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗧𝗗𝗨)—bringing world-class hazardous waste treatment technology to support the country's growing oil and gas industry.

Already operational in Walvis Bay, and with a second unit arriving soon in Lüderitz, this pioneering investment enables WESCO to safely manage hazardous waste for clients including Chevron, TotalEnergies and Shell, while protecting Namibia's environment for future generations.

Yesterday, our Group Director, George Fransman, had the privilege of presenting this milestone technology to representatives from the State House, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the Office of the President.

Innovation today. Sustainability for tomorrow.

BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES

At WESCO Group Namibia, we believe that caring for our communities means supporting those who have spent a lifetime building them.

Through our monthly grocery donation programme, we are proud to support Helping Hands Old Age Home in Lüderitz. These contributions help provide essential household items and groceries that contribute to the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the residents.

We value initiatives such as Helping Hands because they provide a safe, caring environment where elderly members of our community are treated with the respect and compassion they deserve.

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme, we remain committed to investing in communities and supporting organisations that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Together, we are building stronger communities.
