Namibia’s industrial ambitions are as vast as its landscape, with the country showing genuine competitive potential in green hydrogen, oil and gas, mining, marine engineering and heavy fabrication.

However, a critical structural gap threatens this agenda: a shortage of internationally recognised welding expertise. To fully unlock these sectors, Namibia requires a robust pipeline of competent welding engineers, coordinators and specialised welders who meet global standards.
