A Milestone Worth Celebrating!

We are proud to announce that Kraatz has officially achieved ISO 45001:2018 Certification for our Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

This internationally recognised certification reflects our unwavering commitment to creating a safe and healthy workplace across our industrial, marine, offshore and mining operations. It is the result of teamwork, dedication and a shared belief that every employee deserves to go home safely every day.

Last week, from 12–18 July, the 79th IIW Annual Assembly brought together welding and allied industry professionals from around the world in Salzburg, Austria.

We at Kraatz are proud that our Managing Director, Frank Kernstock, attended the Assembly in his capacity as Chairperson of the Association of Welding and Allied Processes of Namibia (WeldNAM), alongside Vice-Chairperson Prof Kenneth Matengu and CEO Dr Ing Thomas Alweendo.

The week provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, international collaboration and discussions on the future of welding, fabrication and related technologies and highlighted the important role Namibia continues to play within the global welding community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these conversations and we look forward to applying the insights gained to support technical excellence and skills development in Namibia.
