The Namib Biogas project aims to lower Namibia’s carbon footprint by building a biogas plant operating on poultry manure. The plant is tailor-made for Namibia’s arid climate and innovatively combines existing technology to generate power. The plant will serve as the first-ever biogas system in Southern Africa with zero (net) water consumption.
Our team passionately believes in the positive impact the Namib Biogas project will have on our environment and climate change in general. The project will serve the Namibian industry by presenting them a solution to produce renewable energy from waste materials. It also offers a cost-effective alternative to manage waste for municipalities and other waste-producing entities.
