Spring doesn't ask permission to bloom.

On this first day of the season, we're reminded that renewal is always possible. Growth happens when we step into the light and embrace fresh starts.

What are you growing this spring?

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Tate Lamech Mwanyangapo on Saturday. 29 August 2026. As former director of the Lithon Foundation and Lithon Holdings, Tate Lamech embodied a spirit that inspired all who knew him - a warrior's determination paired with genuine warmth and positivity. He believed in building something meaningful, and he lived that belief every day. His legacy of strength, optimism, and service will continue to guide us. Rest well, Tate Lamech. You will be deeply missed.

Fourteen years ago, Bianca Fourie joined Lithon Project Consultants. Today, we're proud to announce her promotion to Financial Manager. Her journey with us reflects exactly the kind of loyalty, growth, and trust we value as a company — and there's nobody we'd rather have looking after our numbers. Congratulations, Bianca, on this well-deserved promotion!

One person's excess can change someone else's life.

At the Lithon Foundation, we've seen books become libraries, appliances support orphan care homes, toys bring joy to ECD centres, and school supplies equip classrooms where they are desperately needed.

If you're moving, decluttering, or simply have items you no longer use, don't throw them away. Drop them off at our office and we'll ensure they reach vetted organisations that can put them to good use.

Please donate only clean, usable items. Giving with dignity makes all the difference.

At the request of the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST), Lithon Foundation and Lithon Project Consultants recently hosted four Mr & Ms STEM Namibia 2026 finalists as part of their leadership and career development programme.

The students engaged with our younger engineers-in-training, interns, and professionals, gaining valuable insights into career opportunities in engineering, securing internships, and building a strong professional profile.

A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to interact with our team members:
• Emilia Kavungo (LPC Civil Engineer)
• Marize Engelbrecht (LPC Project Administrator)
• Harrison Arigbe (LPC Structural Engineer)
• Amarildo Paulo (LPC Director and Business Unit Leader: Civil & Transport)
• Set-son Wenger Shifidi (LPC Director and Business Unit Leader: Electrical & Mechanical)
• Adriaan Johannes Grobler, (LPC Executive Chairman & Lithon Founder )

The students left inspired, motivated to excel in their studies, explore opportunities within their communities, and encourage more young people to pursue STEM careers.

Lithon is proud to be associated with a project that will make a significant and positive impact on the lives of our community

The third phase of the Auas Road upgrading project has officially kicked off, with sections of the key southern Windhoek route set to be expanded to as many as three lanes in each direction in some sections over the next 12 months.

According to Lithon Engineering, the project’s technical expertise provider, Phase 3 will convert sections of Auas Road into a dual carriageway while upgrading major intersections to ease traffic congestion between the Southern Industrial Area and the southern parts of Windhoek, including Prosperita and the Grove Mall area.

The works will include the rehabilitation of existing road layers and upgrades to the Sean MacBride and Golf Street intersections.

A large culvert will also be constructed across the river between Suiderhof, also known as Bokkiesdorp, and Namcor, while a new median with streetlights and trees will be installed.

Proud to support a great cause!

Lithon Project Consultants was honoured to sponsor and participate in the Legacy of Love Golf Day, joining fellow businesses and community members for a day of networking, friendly competition, and giving back.

Our team enjoyed taking to the fairways while contributing to an initiative that continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Thank you to the organisers and everyone involved in making the day such a success.

Auas Road Upgrading Phase 3 has finally kicked off!
This phase includes:
-Rehabilitation of the old road layers
-Upgrading of major intersections, including Sean MacBride and Golf Street
-Construction of a large culvert over the river between Suiderhof (Bokkiesdorp) and Namcor
-A new median with streetlights and trees
Over the next 12 months, this project will deliver a dual carriageway — with 2-3 lanes per direction in some areas — along with upgraded intersections.
The result? Much-needed relief for the traffic bottleneck between the Southern Industrial area and the Southern Outskirts of town, including Grove Mall and Prosperita Industrial area.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the road network for everyone!
