A significant step toward addressing Nigeria’s infrastructure challenges has been taken with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Nigerian Association For Engineering Geology and the Environment and Tectonics Engineering Group.
This is focused on advancing:
Sustainable and climate-resilient infrastructure
Improved geotechnical and environmental practices
Research, innovation, and technical capacity development
Solutions to recurring infrastructure and road failures across Nigeria
The partnership aims to strengthen the role of engineering geology in infrastructure planning, construction and long-term performance.
The collaboration also supports knowledge sharing, laboratory development, training, and the promotion of data-driven engineering solutions for a more resilient future.
