The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, inaugurated the 240m bridge on August 26th, 2026. He was accompanied by his deputy and other dignitaries.
Engr. Michel Issa, the Area Manager who represented the Managing Director, thanked the Governor and the Rivers State Government for their support and trust in Setraco to deliver the project despite challenges. The Governor expressed satisfaction with the bridge, noting its importance in aiding communities that depended on the old Abua Road.
Setraco takes pride in delivering this project, which will not only improve the lives of the residents but also connect communities and create lasting value that will benefit future generations.

The Egwi-Afara-Mbah Road reconstruction project in the Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State was officially commissioned on August 18th, 2026. The project, awarded by the Rivers State Government in the year 2024, was attended by dignitaries including His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and his deputy, Madam Ngozi Ordu.

Engr. Patrick Izevbekhai, who represented the Managing Director, expressed appreciation for the Government’s trust and confidence in the company. He also highlighted that the 12.1km road includes about 8.785km of drainage infrastructure aimed at promoting effective erosion control and enhancing the durability of the road.

The Governor, on his part, expressed delight at the successful completion of the project and commended all stakeholders who contributed to its delivery. The completion of this road project, carried out according to specifications, will improve connectivity in the region. It will have a lasting positive impact on the Etche community, benefiting the residents by enhancing transportation and access to essential services.

The official commissioning of Collector Roads 01 and 02 in Mabushi District took place on June 26th, 2026, with Vice President Kashim Shettima representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The event was attended by key government officials, including the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, and Setraco's Managing Director, Engr. Ziad Mouannes, alongside other Directors, Managers, and Staff members.

During the ceremony, the FCT Minister emphasized the project's role in accelerating development in Mabushi District, while the Vice President highlighted its importance in improving connectivity and driving economic growth within the FCT. The project, which was flagged off in September 2025, has now been successfully completed and commissioned in less than a year, underscoring Setraco's dedication to delivering durable infrastructure that fosters growth and connectivity for the future.

On June 9, 2026, we were honored to host the Governor of Bayelsa State, H.E. Senator Douye Diri, alongside top government officials, for a comprehensive site inspection on the 21km Nembe-Brass Road/Bridge Phase 1 project.

During the visit, the Governor expressed great satisfaction with the current pace of construction and the quality of work being done. He emphasized the transformative impact this vital project shall have on his people upon completion: “The company is doing a great job, and they will not disappoint the Government, the people of Bayelsa, particularly the people of Tuwo Brass Nembe,” he enthused. The project will substantially boost regional security, enhance connectivity, and unlock lasting socio-economic opportunities for local communities.

Engr. J.J. Cosme, the Area Manager, thanked the Governor for his visit and reaffirmed our team's unwavering commitment to delivering this landmark project safely, on schedule, and to the absolute highest specifications.

The Ayakoromo Bridge in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, has made substantial progress since its last update. This 612m long bridge project, which spans the Forcados River, has seen significant developments, including the completion of the pile caps and cross beams.
