Few Key Take Home Points From These Great Men From Different Industries:
As a young entrepreneur, you're not in business untill you've done 10years in that business. This is the mortality years of business and you must move yourself to a certain level where you sustain the growth of the business.
No one gets to the top, everyone was brought to the top- This is where building a quality and long term relationship with people comes in. You can't get to the top alone. YOU NEED PEOPLE.
You must be friends with the owners and players of the industry you are into. Never neglect this people, because many at times, they're the regulators of the industry "The Regulator Capture". Be their friends and learn from them.
In buying or selling a product, don't just buy a product, but also buy a relationship...this is because, the things that will change your life are not taught, but caught. And having a BUSINESS MENTOR is sacrosanct to determining the level of growth you want to achieve in your business as a young entrepreneur.
Dr. Ugochukwu Omeogu in his words, made it clear that; Poor people look for cash, while the rich people look for knowledge, this actually caught my attention. Because knowledge is one of the greatest gateway to wealth creation.
Until value is created, money cannot be made. And in creating value, you must back it up with credibility, credible relationship, character, competent and finally be a servant to anyone who has mastered the industry where your business falls into.
Also in the words of Dr. Cosmas Maduka (Chairman Coscharis Group), "Success is Not a Degree"; sighting example how he started his life. It is important as a young entrepreneur to nurture your profession from ground zero. Don't be too focused on making money during the level you are meant to use to nurture and grow your business.
Face life with confidence, because nobody will believe in you until you believe in yourself.
He further noted that, "the greatest misery in life is that; your destiny was chosen by God, but it fulfilment is solely dependant on you". In fulfilling your destiny, you have to be intentional about it. Affirming money doesn't make you wealthy, but the principles you take to create value and make money out of it.
You can't achieve all this if your thinking is wrong. If your thinking is wrong, your life will be wrong! Because there's different between wishful thinking and being determined to succeed.
"Nothing is going to change, until you decide to change it"...a dream without a plan is a mere wish.
And when you're faced with challenges in trying to discover your destiny or building your business and career, bear it in mind that challenges will come and it's just an incubator for growth. The interpretation of crisis is an opportunity for growth and expansion.
Don't work for money, rather work to learn. You need to live a purpose driven lifestyle. Every road cannot take you to your destiny.
Be violent about your conviction to be successful.
In conclusion, don't believe that you can only start big, start small and believe in yourself,
Pay attention to your overheads,
Be a person of value,
Be relentless and finally,
Learn to manage, yourself.
