I’m excited to announce that my trade fair course for vendors will now be available completely FREE online.

This was made possible through the support of Wave Budget, who partnered to ensure that vendors can access practical knowledge without financial barriers.

This course is designed to help vendors:
- Choose the right trade fairs
- Avoid wasting money on poor events
- Improve their sales strategy
- Understand customer behavior at exhibitions and trade fairs
- Position their brands more effectively

Many vendors struggle not because their products are bad, but because they lack the right information and strategy.

Now, that information is accessible to everyone.

If you’re a vendor, entrepreneur, or small business owner in Nigeria, this course is for you.

Tag someone who needs this opportunity.

I attended the R&R Trade Fair and had an interesting experience with one of the skincare vendors, Comfy Royale.

They offered a free skincare consultation, and during the conversation, I discovered that the Simple face wash I usually buy actually comes in different quality variations.

That level of customer education immediately stood out to me.

This is an important reminder that successful vendors do more than just sell products—they help customers make informed decisions.

Experiences like this are one of the reasons trade fairs remain valuable:
- Direct interaction with vendors
- Personalized recommendations
- Better product understanding
- Customer trust-building

Vendors who focus on education and experience often create stronger customer loyalty than those who focus only on sales.

They said Nigerian youths are not skilled…

But let’s be honest, how do you perform at a global level when your environment is constantly slowing you down?

Unstable electricity.
Slow or outdated devices.
Limited access to the tools that actually improve your output.

Sometimes, it’s not a skill problem… it’s an access problem.

Imagine what more you could do if you had the right tools right now, instead of waiting till you can afford everything at once.

That’s the gap Wave Budget is helping to close.
You can get what you need today, and pay in installments.

Because growth shouldn’t have to wait.

If you’re a vendor or small business owner in Nigeria, here are some trade fairs happening in May 2026 that you should be aware of:
• R & R Trade Fair
• The Glitz Trade Fair
• Benson Idahosa University – Market Takeover
• Vendors Connect (Zombie Experience)
• Ojo Oja by Sunni Clothings

Trade fairs can be a great opportunity to increase visibility and make sales—but only if you choose the right ones.

Before registering, take time to evaluate:
• The expected audience
• The event location
• Timing and competing events
• Organizer structure and past performance

Not every event is worth your investment.

Follow me for insights on how to choose the right trade fairs and maximize your results.

At trade fairs, the difference between vendors who attract customers and those who struggle is often very clear.

It’s not just about what you’re selling, it’s about how you present it.

At the Meet A Doll Exhibition, I observed a few vendors who stood out because they focused on:
Product experience (fresh, high-quality, testable)

Smart pricing strategies like discounts to encourage trial

Customer engagement through calm and welcoming interactions

Intentional setup and visual appeal

These are the small details that create a strong customer experience and ultimately drive sales.

This is Part 2 of my vendor review, highlighting what works and what other vendors can learn.

I attended the Meet A Doll Exhibition and took time to observe the vendors closely.

Beyond the rain and the recovery, what stood out was how differently vendors approached the same opportunity.

Some vendors focused on:
1) Delivering a strong customer experience
2) Structuring their team for speed and efficiency
3) Creating unique product positioning
4) Showing consistency across events

While others were simply present.

Trade fairs are competitive environments, and the difference often comes down to preparation and strategy.

This is Part 1 of my vendor review, highlighting what worked and what other vendors can learn from it.

If you’re a vendor or planning to exhibit, these insights will help you perform better.
