Africa is building and it must build green.

As Africa moves toward industrial growth, our path must be different from the past. We cannot afford industries that pollute rivers, exploit workers, and choke cities in smog.

At Goodness International Resources Ltd, we believe in a new kind of industrialization:

- Powered by clean energy
- Built on circular economy models
- Designed to create jobs and regenerate ecosystems
- Rooted in African innovation, resilience, and environmental justice

Africa Industrialization Week is a reminder: We’re designing the future.

Let’s industrialize with intelligence, equity, and ecological awareness.

Your old phone isn’t harmless; it’s hazardous.

Every year, the world generates over 50 million tonnes of electronic waste, yet less than 20% is formally recycled. In Africa, and especially Nigeria, much of this ends up in informal dumpsites burned, broken, and handled by unprotected youth and workers.

At Goodness International Resources Ltd, we’re calling for:
- Responsible recycling
- Manufacturer take-back programs
- A stronger Right to Repair
- Public education on e-waste dangers

Let’s move from toxic waste to a circular economy. That old charger? Recycle it. That broken phone? Dispose of it safely. E-waste is not trash; it’s a threat, and a missed opportunity.

October greets us with the promise of change, and at Goodness International Resources Ltd., we see this as a time to celebrate and reflect. On October 1st, we proudly join millions of Nigerians in celebrating our Independence Day; a powerful reminder of resilience, unity, and the boundless potential of our nation. Later this month, on October 24th, the world also commemorates the founding of the United Nations, an institution that continues to drive global progress on climate action and sustainability. These milestones, one national and the other global, inspire us to strengthen our resolve to build a future where growth and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.

At Goodness International, we believe independence gives us the courage to dream boldly, while global cooperation teaches us the power of working together. Guided by these values, we are reducing waste, embracing greener technologies, and ensuring our operations reflect our deep commitment to sustainability. This October, as we wave the Nigerian flag high and renew our promise to the planet, we invite everyone including employees, partners, and customers to join us in leading with purpose. Together, we can celebrate our heritage, honor our environment, and create the future we all deserve.

Whether you’re organizing a local initiative or simply picking up a single bag of trash, you are part of a powerful global movement.

National Tree Planting Events are more than symbolic, they are powerful acts of restoration.

From the Great Green Wall in Nigeria to Kenya’s Green Legacy Initiative, and Philippines’ National Tree Planting Day, nations around the world are proving that mass mobilization for trees can regenerate soil, cool cities, and revive ecosystems.

Yet many countries still lack a unified day dedicated to trees.

At Goodness International Resources Ltd, we believe:
- Every country deserves a national day to plant trees.
- Communities thrive when they grow what they protect.
- Climate action begins one seed at a time.

Let’s make it global. Let’s make it annual. Let’s make it ours.

Join us in calling for every nation to declare a National Tree Planting Day because every tree planted is a vote for the future.

Sharks get a bad rap in movies. But in real life, they’re not the villains … they’re the ocean’s doctors, keeping marine life in balance.

Every year, over 100 million sharks are killed, mostly due to overfishing and finning, threatening marine ecosystems and coastal livelihoods.

In places like South Africa, known for its great white sharks and marine tourism, shark conservation is serious business and a big part of the blue economy.

At Goodness International Resources Ltd, we advocate for:
- Sustainable fisheries
- Marine protected areas
- Public education beyond the horror movies

Healthy oceans need sharks. Let’s keep them swimming, not sinking.
