Last week at the Africa Development Conference 2026 hosted by Harvard University, our CEO Ifeoma Malo shared a powerful message on African energy security and the global energy transition.

Her call was clear: Africa must move beyond exporting raw materials to building local systems that power its own development, reinvesting today’s revenues into tomorrow’s energy access through both oil & gas realities and renewable opportunities.

The planet is not asking for perfection but for action.
Every plastic you refuse, every choice you make, every voice you raise… it all counts.

This Earth Day 2026, remember this: We are not powerless. The future of our planet is shaped by what we do today.

It starts with you. It grows with all of us.
Our Power, Our Planet.

Last week at Clean Technology Hub:
Our CEO, Ifeoma Malo, spoke at the Africa Development Conference 2026, sharing powerful insights on Africa’s energy transition, resource value chains, and the need to move from exporting raw materials to building local systems that drive real development.

we also reflect on the inauguration of the Salesian Mission Office Nigeria in Abuja, which spotlighted a bold youth development model focused on stabilizing, training, and integrating young people into productive systems for national transformation.

Two important moments, one clear message: Africa’s future depends on systems that unlock people, resources, and long-term value.

Today is , and in Nigeria, transport isn’t just about movement… it is survival, hustle, and daily strategy.

From early morning cabs, to packed danfos, to BRT queues that test your patience, not forgetting the okada and keke (Maruwa) that makes commuting more flexible. Millions of Nigerians make complex mobility decisions every single day.

Now, a new layer is emerging: electric mobility, a cleaner, quieter, and potentially cheaper alternative.

But here is the real question: Will it actually work for everyday Nigerians?

At Clean Technology Hub, we are not just championing and advocating for solutions in isolation, we are listening, testing, and shaping e-mobility around real commuter experiences.

So today, we want to hear from you, no “expert” answers needed, just your reality.

Take a minute to vote in the polls below.
We will share insights and our take on what this means for the future of transport in Nigeria.

What matters MOST in your daily commute?

Climate change isn’t just one problem, it’s the one that shapes all the others.

As Ross Gelbspan reminds us, the path forward lies in collective action coming together globally to transition to clean energy and build a future rooted in peace, sustainability, and harmony with nature.

The question is no longer if we act, but how fast we can move together.

Following the conversation from World Water Day 2026, we’re continuing the voices that matter.

In this second clip from our interview series, Ms. Racheal O. Adebayo from Ecobarter reminds us that how we manage our waste directly shapes the future of our water. Every mismanaged plastic, every careless disposal finds its way into our rivers and into the daily reality of women and girls who are responsible for water in their homes.

The message is clear and still stands: reduce, reuse, recycle, and regenerate. Because protecting our water also means empowering the women who manage it every day.

We are proud to see our CEO, Ifeoma Malo, recognized as a true force driving change across Africa’s energy landscape.

At Clean Technology Hub, her leadership reflects a deep commitment to tackling one of the continent’s most pressing challenges, Energy poverty. What started as a bold vision has grown into a powerful movement delivering real impact across communities.

From reaching 80 communities in 7 African countries to supporting the growth of 500+ climate-focused businesses, CTH continues to bridge the gap between innovation, access, and opportunity. Under her leadership, the sector has seen significant growth and expansion, with even more impact on the horizon.

Her journey is a reminder that resilience, purpose, and bold thinking can transform challenges into lasting solutions. As she rightly says:
“When things get hard, always dig in and bet on yourself.”

We celebrate this recognition and remain committed to accelerating sustainable energy access and climate innovation across Africa.

“You don’t have to wait to be an environmentalist. Water is the blue thread that connects our lives together. Everyone can do something.”
— Mr. Seyifunmi Adebote

“The truth is, water risk is not coming in the future… it is already here with us.”
— Mr. Seyifunmi Adebote

On World Water Day 2026, we are reminded that water is not just life, it is equality, dignity, and opportunity.

With the theme “Water and Gender,” we confront a reality that is already unfolding: Women and Girls are often the first to feel the burden of water scarcity and the first to hold the solutions.

Every drop matters. Every voice counts. Every action counts.
