We are calling on government, NGOs, development partners, investors, researchers and clean-energy organisations to join us in building a practical model where rural communities can:

Produce energy from their own waste.
Cook with locally generated biogas.
Create jobs around waste collection and technology.
Produce organic fertilizer from the digested waste.
Keep more value within the community.

This isn't about bringing a solution to the village.

It is about discovering the energy that is already IN the village.

Nigeria's villages should not only be consumers of energy.

THEY CAN BECOME PRODUCERS OF ENERGY.

The smartest opportunity may be sitting in the waste bin.

Comment EMBRACE, if you are ready!

Next week in Akure, something practical is coming.

We are teaching people how to take wastes that are normally thrown away and turn them into cooking gas and potentially, into income.

This is bigger than learning a skill.

It is about giving a young person something they can build a business around.

Parents, don't wait until your child graduates before asking, “What can you do?”

Send them to learn something they can actually do with their hands.

Because the future will not belong only to those looking for jobs.

It will belong to those who can solve problems, create value and create jobs.

Our 7th–9th September Biogas Practical Training was initially scheduled for Port Harcourt. We have now moved it to Akure, Ondo State, to create a better environment for practical learning.

But the bigger reason for this training goes beyond three days.

It is about changing the way you see opportunity.

A cocoa pod lying on a farm floor.

Plantain peels dumped behind a house.

Food waste from a restaurant.

Cassava-processing wastewater.

Animal manure.

Market waste.

To most people, these are things to dispose of.

To someone who understands anaerobic digestion, they can become feedstock, energy and value.

That difference is knowledge.

And knowledge becomes powerful when you can apply it.

Nigeria does not have a shortage of waste.

We do not have a shortage of people who need affordable energy.

What we desperately need are more people who can connect the two.

That is the opportunity we are opening up through this training.

You don't have to own a large company.

You don't have to start with a massive plant.

You need to understand the technology, understand the waste around you and understand the people who need the solution.

The market is not somewhere far away.

It is in the farm.
It is in the kitchen.
It is in the restaurant.
It is in the market.
It is in the community.

.Sometimes, we say “Happy New Month” every 1st of the month, but our income remains the same, our expenses keep increasing, and the same worries follow us into another 30 days.

September is here.

Let's see how many people are ready to make September different.

Children are returning to school.
Rent will come when it is due.
