Fuel for Cleancook stoves

In preparation for the launch of Quintas cleancook stove in January 2025, the need for easy availability and steady supply of fuel (charcoal) to clients was considered. To this end, a biomass carbonation machine (Retort) to convert raw biomass to charcoal was designed and fabricated. The feedstocks for the retorts are palm kernel shell and other agro wastes, wood wastes, sawdust and forest residue. Our results are shown in the attached videos.
