Read this before you go solar
Cheaper installation will make you pay twice
When we give you quotation, don't rush to
compare our total cost with that of Mr. B, buy
why?
1. We project a year or two from now.
2. We factor in future load or surge load.
3. We work with smart system that have good
protections from DC polarity to under/over
voltage and overload
4. We start and finish your project with what
you paid for, inverters, batteries and panels that
are up to standard and not stickers
Why are we saying this, I just returned from
another site with my quotation, the clients
decided to buy the materials or engage another
person because they are cheaper elsewhere and
didn't trust my budject, ours on one of them is
to install but I couldn't run the installation
because we were busy when the call came.
After a year, I have been called and these are my
observation,
(1) Breakers that came with the package
weren't connected, just installed on the walls
but no single cable pass through any, I guess
the installer doesn't
know how to use them.
(2) The system of a
year ago can't handle Lithium battery of modern
day, so for them to upgrade to lithium, the
charge controller and the inverter will give way,
almost the cost of a complete installation. DSP
inverters aren't compatible with Lithium
batteries.
Another client bought 3.5kva inverter from us
and 1 DC breaker a year ago, he keeps buying
one here and others at different location looking
for where it's cheaper, he engaged the services
of "It's our job group" who almost caused
damage to the inverter, in my years of
experience and till date I haven't replace a burnt
inverter DC fuse because my brand of inverter
has such inbuilt fuse, but we did that day of
installation. I ended up being support office for
the installation via video call before the inverter
could respond, in fact we have to replace the
fuse and thanks to producer for always having
extra in the pack. It was almost a case of we
selling bad product if not for level of
professionalism and off site troubleshooting.
Same man latter called me days after the
installation that they didn't use the breaker and I
should come have it for possible refund.
This is the 2nd site we have gone to this year
seeing this kind of challenges after I have been
contacted before the project was
executed by another person.
I will advice those who want to possibly go into
solar not to always look for what is cheap, we
have so many good solar energy installers who
knows what make is good for you out there,
they will have a different cost compared to
those who will give you what isn't close to what
you paid for, it mustn't be us, look for them and
avoid spending twice for one project.
Always ask JB Global Technologies Nig 07084104744 why his quotation is higher to that of Mr. J. before you switch to something cheaper.
Solar Energy isn't about installation and it's
working now. Can it stand the test of time?
