The lIfe of a Technical Operator:

1. A Technical Operator carries out the day to day operating of a production MACHINE inline with the SOP of the machine, to achieve the set SLE.

2. Conduct daily inspections and observations of the machine condition, and document findings and prepare a detailed report.

3. Carry out the PMPL of the machine, making use of maintenance tools such as C**T.

4. Maintain the GMP/GHK around the machine, during operation and maintenance using approved technical tools such as 5S.

PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE
Most times, we think there is no need for proactive maintenance or we prefer to wait till a particular machine or system fails or breaks down completely, before we think of maintenance or repairs.

Proactive maintenance is one of the most important types of maintenance for machines;

*Basically to prevent the machine from failing and breaking down while in operation.
*To give the machine a longer life span.
*Replacing failing and wearing parts.
*Recalibrating the system or machine for optimum output.
*Testing and checking the coolants, which includes the cooling water, oil and the air.
*Parrallerizsm checks, most industrial and robotic machines efficiency also depends on the it's layout and installation. Checking if the machine is still well installed and if there is any misalignment due to vibration is also very important during proactive maintenance.

It's an opportunity and hands-on experience to be amongst the proactive team on the Injection transfer cylinder.

In my previous video, shows when the proact starts by loosing the transfer cylinder lock screw to remove the cover. After de-energizing the hydraulic system, from the MANUAL DUMP VALVE AND REMOVING THE HYDRAULIC SUPPLY HOSE AND RETRAIN HOSE. then the pistons were removed carefully, all the gaskets, O-rings were replaced and the system was assembled back.

More work on the injection molding system!!
