If tubular batteries were used for your solar installation. Make it a point of duty to check the gauges. Whenever you notice a drop in the electrolyte levels, ensure the batteries are serviced as soon as possible. Regular maintenance helps improve you battery performance and life span...

The most efficient is the lithium ion battery and it's also the most expensive. It typically comes with a 5 year warranty and it has a life span of about 10-15 years before you'll need to replace...

Tubular batteries aka flooded batteries are available in several capacity too. 150ah,180,200,220,250 and 270ah. They typical require maintenance from time to time. Used correctly they typically last between 3-4 years before needing to be replaced.

Dry cell/Gel/AGM/VRLA batteries typically require zero maintenance. They're available with different battery technology in place..eg Automated Glass mat technology or the Valve Regulated Lead Acid amongst others. They typically come in three capacities. 100ah, 150ah and 200ah.
