SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM INSTALLATION REPORT
Project Location: Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria
Project Type: Hybrid Solar Power System Installation
Client: State general overseer resident of a Prominent Church
1. Project Overview
This project involved the design, supply, and installation of a high-capacity hybrid solar energy system to provide reliable and sustainable electricity for a large church facility in Onitsha, Anambra State. The objective was to reduce dependence on grid power and generators while ensuring uninterrupted power supply for essential operations.
2. System Configuration
The installed system consists of two integrated solar power units designed to optimize energy generation, storage, and distribution:
A. Unit 1
6 kVA Hybrid Inverter
10 kWh Lithium Battery Bank
6 Units of 590W Solar Panels
B. Unit 2
High-capacity Hybrid Inverter System (combined output contributing to total system capacity of approximately 8 kVA)
15 kWh Lithium Battery Bank
22 Units of 350W Solar Panels
Additional 6 Units of 590W Solar Panels
100A Charge Controller
3. Total System Capacity
Inverter Capacity: ~8 kVA
Battery Storage: 15 kWh (Lithium)
Solar Array Capacity: Optimized using 6 pcs of 590W connectedvto the Mppt Charge controller and 350W photovoltaic panels connect to the hybrid inverter
4. System Performance and Load Coverage
The installed solar system efficiently powers the following loads within the facility:
All lighting points across the building
Two deep freezers , one fridge
Water pumping machine
Electric iron
Washing machine
Other essential electrical appliances and gadgets
The system is designed to handle both daytime and nighttime energy demands, with sufficient battery backup to ensure continuity during low sunlight periods.
