Projects from the Easter Maker Camp last month!

Our makers explored the world of creativity and architecture, working with standard design and modelling tools - Tinkercad, Blender, and AutoCAD.

As always, the fun learning continues! Currently, our afterschool and weekend STEM sessions run every week.

As always, we celebrate the creative minds of children, their enthusiasm for learning, and their openness to exploration.

Last week, the LASRIC-funded SAIL STEM For Schools programme (Cohort 3), managed by SAIL Empowerment Foundation and implemented by STEMCafe, kicked off with the onboarding of the students 🎉

50 students from 2 secondary schools have begun a journey into the world of Embedded Systems, and we can't wait to see what they ideate and create at the end.

The Easter Maker Camp officially starts tomorrow 🎉

Join our already registered kids in exploring the amazing world of creativity and engineering this holiday.

Activities to Expect
Ages 5 - 7 (50% reduced screen time)
🔧 Electronics; Scrap to Stuff, Hydrolysis (smart door system, etc)
💻 Coding with PictoBlox

Ages 8 - 11, Ages 12 - 18
🏠 3D Modelling and Design using Tinkercad/Blender
💫 AutoCAD (Tool to be used is AutoCAD Web)

Meet Othus, one of the young innovators from the Young Creators Programme (YCP) delivered by STEMCafe in partnership with SLB 🎉

In this video, he talks about the project his team developed during the programme, what inspired the idea, the impact of the experience, and some of his proudest moments from the journey.

Through initiatives like YCP, STEMCafe continues to support young people in exploring STEM, building practical skills, and bringing their ideas to life.

STEMCafe at the Charterhouse Lagos STEM Open Day as an exhibitor 🚀

The students interacted with Mekamon, Physical Computing Projects, LEGO Mindstorm EV3 Robotics, and Micro:bit.

They experienced the use of programming in the Micro:bit step counter, the interactivity of robots, and the amazing world of STEM through the project interactions.

As always, it was great seeing the children's excitement and curiosity.
