IFGreen is a proud partner of the WISE Program (Women in Sourcing and Enterprise)—a collaborative initiative of the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with IDH, dedicated to equipping young women with the skills, networks, and resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods.

The program strengthens Nigeria’s cassava value chain by working with youth outgrower farmers—80% of whom are women. Its focus areas include enabling stronger market linkages, improving access to land and farming inputs, enhancing enterprise development skills, promoting regenerative agricultural practices, and expanding access to finance.

IFGreen Industries & Investment Ltd. is honoured to play a key role in this transformation. By placing young women at the heart of value chain development, the WISE Program is creating meaningful pathways to economic independence through market-driven linkages with SMEs, semi-processing centres that provide local jobs, entrepreneurship training, financing opportunities, and climate-smart farming methods.

Young women are not just participants in Nigeria’s cassava sector—they are the driving force of its transformation.
